Layouts are comprehensive, versatile and customisable. Unlike most current software its pages do not rely on scrolling, and have no superfluous images. Every sq mm is used, and clarity is superb, helped by colouring of items. IBM's efficient page design has never been matched by Microsoft designers.
I regularly check to see if it is active again under any new owner, but sadly not so far. But I will not drop it for anything inferior. Does anyone know a way to sync it with any mobile phone calendar?

I know it's been a year since you posted this comment, but today, when looking for Lotus Organizer help with something I forgot how to do, I saw your comment.
I don't know if you've already managed to synchronize the lotus organizer with your phone's calendar. I do this constantly. So there goes the method.
You must export your calendar in ICS format to a folder on your computer.
Then, go to Google Calendar and import the ICS file you generated.
The information will all go to Google calendar. If your cell phone is set to sync Google Calendar, the information will go to it.
The only drawback of this process is that every time you import the ICS file into Google calendar, you will have to delete the Google calendar first and then import.

I have been using this to run my HVAC/R repair and installation company since 1994, possibly earlier and we LOVE it! I have never had any trouble with it til recently. I went to try something that I've never done before and thought I'd check the help menu first but doing so made the program crash. After reopening it, it operates fine but I can't use the help menu. Anyone know where I can find help for this perfect program? I was going to try to merge a couple of older files but just want to make sure I understand that it will not duplicate the appointments, but copy them over each other. I will not stop using ORG until I'm forced to!! That's how much I love it!!!!! Roberta
The best personal information management program. I've been using it since 1994. I'm still using this under Organizer 6.0 Win 10, I had a bit of a fight but it works fine.
This is the best PDA that I've ever used. I wish other companies would add some of the features that this has. I love the Web section where you can save and organize your IDs and passwords.
There is no better laid-out personal organiser in my view. Pages are clear, no screen space is wasted, and no scrolling is needed. It lacks modern connectivity, but is still the best.
This is the best organizer I have ever used. I have misplaced my installation CD. My last computer with the software installed has died. How do I get an installation disk for 6.1? I have copies of the previous versions with the smart suite cos.
I agree. I loved the Planner feature, and the ability for it to show through into the calendar. I haven't found anything comparable with that feature.My version of Organizer (said to be for Win 3.x, 95 and 9 worked up until XP. Since Windows 7 I have been devastated that old software (including my version of Organizer) is now useless.
I have ADHD and am addicted to organization. Mildred, or Dorothy, or Judy, or whatever name I've currently bestowed on my Lotus Organizer, has been the only force that matches my mine. No bullet journal for me! I print Organizer on loose-leaf so that I have both a digital and an analog version. Fan since the inception of Lotus Smart Suite.
I kept my old MSWin XP laptop to use Lotus Organizer. This is the best organizer ever created. It could stand a tad updating. It really needs to become an iPhone and Android app for portability and convenience. It would literally kill all other organizers out there and be among the highest-rated apps ever up there with Facebook. IBM is crazy for not being more business-oriented about this app. I love it because it helps me organize by sensible business compartmentalization.
I have used this software for my air conditioning and heating repair and installation service business for over 13 years! Actually the first version I purchased was 4.1 I think. I love this program and my company can not survive without it. Newer programs are worthless compared to Org! One year I spent almost $200 on several different programs at the office supply store, installed them all and used them side by side for the summer and none could do what Org did - not a one! I sure hope someone rebuilds this so it never disappears. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
