No, you cannot transfer IBM Lotus Organizer 6.1 directly from a Sony computer to an Apple iMac running Catalina. IBM Lotus Organizer is a Windows-based program and is not compatible with the macOS Catalina operating system. However, there may be alternative solutions or similar software available for macOS that can fulfill your organizing needs.
I have been using Lotus Organizer for over 10 years and am upgrading my PC to either Vista 64-bit or Windows 7. Will I be able to load 6.0 on this?

The official platforms supported by this application are Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT. In its native mode, the application is lacking compatibility with Windows Vista or Windows 7 in 64-bit mode but there is a way to make it work through Compatibility mode. You can either use right click on the setup/executable file and choose Troubleshoot Compatibility or Properties > Compatibility. Troubleshoot compatibility is recommended because it will perform additional configuration to the package to make it work in your system. Officially, the application is not compatible with Windows Vista or 7 but you can make it work through compatibility settings.
I have been using Lotus Organizer since forever and have thought it to be the best for all important things. As with others, I was disappointed when it appeared that IBM would allow it to wither and die off. But, version 6.1 seems to put life back into this fine software. Will it be able to sync with Android and other smart phones that replaced PDAs?

No. Unfortunately, there isn't a tool similar to IBM Lotus EasySync which will allow you to sync data with Android devices. However, on Google Store, there is IBM Notes Traveler. This application has the ability to sync data between your Android device and Lotus Notes program.
Where can I get the install files for IBM Lotus Organizer 6.1? I have 20 years worth of information and history in my .or6 files, but I cannot access because of the Windows 10 update.

Unfortunately, according to an official announcement made by the company, the application has been discontinued and is no longer available to download from official sources.
What's even worse is that I don't know of any other application that's able to either convert or open the OR6 format, other than Lotus Organizer 6.1. At one point Outlook had this capability, but I'm not sure if the newer versions can do it or not.
In case you still have the installer, you just can't get it to run on Windows 10, here's a link to a Windows patch: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21228070 and to an update http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24006178 that may prove of some assistance. Additionally, you could try creating a virtual machine with an older Windows version on it, then installing Lotus Organizer on that machine, but once again this only works if you already have the installer saved on your disk or on a storage device.
Unfortunately, Lotus Organizer is compatible only with Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT operating systems, but you can try Program Compatibility Troubleshooter in order to run the application on your computer.
Long ago I started with Lotus Organizer 97 version 2. Meanwhile it seems it has been upgraded. I am now moving to Windows 8, with touch screen. The CD-Rom I have (OR 2) is NOT accepted to install. Of course I need to keep all my data that is written on my current version. Those data I have transferred already to the new computer. It cannot be opened. What should I do?

This software is not developed for Windows 8 and doesn't have an update that is compatible with it. However, you can launch the software in that OS by using one of this tools to emulate an older Windows OS and to run it from there: VMware Workstation or VirtualBox.
The product is not available anymore, however, you still have the possibility to buy it from the Amazon website but you will not have any support at all from the company. The support will stop on 30.09.2014. This means that if any error appears, you will not be able to diagnose and fix it with the IBM's support.

Yes it does, provided it is installed to C:\Program Files (x86), and not to it's default root directory.
